It’s holiday festivity time, and with it comes light shows! Pack the kids in the car, brew some hot chocolate and enjoy an evening drive of viewing Christmas lights.
There are local Christmas light shows in Forsyth County, GA, Alpharetta and Dawsonville for the 2015 holiday season as well as the Lanier Islands Christmas!
The Christmas in Castille light show is located at 4220 Tivoli Way, Alpharetta, GA 30004. The show starts at 6 PM and runs until 9 PM on Thursdays – Saturdays beginning on Dec 3rd through Dec 26th. The neighborhood is gated so when the gates close for the night, the show ends. When you drive up, tune your radio to 89.9FM. Check out their FB page for updates and weather alerts.
Red Hawk Christmas is another Christmas light show in Dawsonville, GA. This show has not yet announced its schedule. TBD. If possible, we’ll post an update on our Facebook page if the show is not running for any reason.
A Residential Animated Christmas Light Show Located in Dawsonville GA. Link to our house –http://goo.gl/E8Qp5N. We have an Animated Christmas Light Show on our home in North Georgia. This year we have 10,000+ lights timed to several Christmas Carols. The show is free and any donations will benefit KARE for Kids. A local non profit that gives local children in need the Christmas they deserve. Located at 173 Aplomado Lane West, Dawsonville, GA 30534. The show will run, but may be turned off in heavy rain.
Lanier Islands Christmas – 7000 Lanier Islands Parkway, Buford, GA. November 27 – January 3 nightly from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Magical Nights of Lights and Winter Adventure!
Drive across the Lanier Islands bridge and into a world of lights! Magical Nights of Lights, our Christmas classic, continues when the sun sets on Lanier Islands this holiday season. Twinkling lights come to life, transforming the landscape with pictures of Christmas wishes, millions of twinkling lights color the Islands throughout the holidays at our Magical Nights of Lights. Journey to Santa’s Holiday Village, where kids can share their Christmas wishes with the big man himself, and grab a photo memory of their special meeting. While you’re here, shop for that special Christmas gift for someone in your circle of friends and family.
In December, a live nativity, presented by area churches, adds a special touch to your Christmas celebration. Tune in with your smart phone or radio to hear songs of the season and enhance the experience with our brand new companion app! The magic is back at Lanier Islands.
Daily admission to Lanier Islands Christmas includes the drive through our twinkling light tour, as well as access to Holiday Village, located at the end of the tour. Also included with daily admission is access to the live nativity (select dates). Admission is per vehicle and is based on what the vehicle has the capacity to hold, not the number of passengers.
Enjoy a brand new adventure this year with Winter Adventure: a snow-packed winter playland perfect for building a snowman, delightful tubing and thrilling sledding! Winter Adventure is the perfect adventure for the family that will keep them thrilled throughout the day. We’ve transformed the summer landscape of LanierWorld and made it ready for winter!
